Comments: I shredded my left acl in 1978, and over the next twenty years had four arthroscopies for miniscus and cartilage issues. Bone on bone, increasing pain and finally almost complete immobility turned my former very active life into one of a couch potato because the pain of even a few steps got old. Dr. Nguyen replaced the knee in 2016.. Recovery was quick, and the pain was minimal (only my quadricep and hamstring were sore); I never have a single moment of pain in my knee..even to this day. I have been pain free since replacement, and again enjoy casual walks, hiking, biking…you name it. My wife told me I look younger as the facial wrinkles from constant grimacing from pain has disappeared. And I feel absolutely wonderful. Thanks Dr. Nguyen and staff for returning pain free joy to my life!
